Kyrel when he was younger and was put in an insane asylum. D:

So, Kyrel's mom was a powerful medium, she could talk to spirits and summon them and sense them, she could communicate with the dead and all hat good stuff.
She was a gypsy and she was very kind. <3

WELL, Kyrel is the product of a non-consensual situation.
So, Kyrel didn't have a father growing up.
His mother died in an "accident" during a seance of sorts.
The details were never really given to him, and Kyrel was sent to an orphanage seeing as Kyrel and his mom were kind of outcasts anyway.
It was just the two of them.
And with her gone, he had no one.

So, Orphanage time.
When he turned 13 he was starting to see things.
Spirits.
And they could see him and they haunted him.
He had inherited his mother's gift, but, when no one else can see them where you are, and you're freaking about things that no one else can see.
People start to get a little uncomfortable around you. >_>;

Kyrel got sent to a mental hospital.
The Orphanage people weren't sure what to do with him.
So.
He got dumped off there. :/

Where there were more violent and crazed spirits. :/
Kyrel just can't win for losing.
On top of being able to see them and sense them, he was also hypersensitive, and because of this he was easily possessed.

He'd been possessed and the spirit was being destructive with his new found body, and Kyrel ended up getting badly burned along one side of his face and his shoulder and arm and some of his chest.

They thought he was a danger to himself and others, so, they threw him in a straight jacket and put him in a padded room.
Where he was trapped and there was no means of escape from he spirits... :/

A recruiter from EA happened to stumble upon him and rescued him from the asylum. >>;
NOW, he's happily relocated to *Elysian-Academy |D;;;
